LS27 FC 4 - 1 POOLE AFC

This morning the U13 Whites entertained their division 3 opponents Poole AFC.

The Whites were a little slow out of the blocks, but broke the deadlock when Ryan played a through ball splitting the defence with Gustav applying the finishing touches. Gustav score again shortly after to double the advantage.
Poole had few chances in front of goal, but did manage to pull a goal back.
The boys in Pink went in at half time with a 2-1 advantage. Instructions at half time were clear in that the boys needed to up their game from a slightly flat first half performance.

The Whites really controlled the game in the second period. Gustav completed his hat trick with another well taken finish after a great work from Lucas in the corner, who played in Wainy who put it on a plate for Gustav. Then the pick of the goals came last. The Whites had the ball in the net from a well executed free kick from Dan which found Lucas, unfortunately the referee had not blew his whistle and ordered a retake. Not to be denied, Dan curled another beauty into the box, Lucas escaped his marker and blasted the ball into the top of the net.
In the last 15 mins the Whites started to play some nice football with Wainy and Leyton unlucky not to add to the tally. In the second half the Pinks defended superbly, protecting Archie really well in net as he had little to do.

Opposition MOM went to Gustav for another fantastic hat trick. Home team MOM went to Leyton who was fantastic across all the positions he played today; RWB, RCB, DM and AM, Leyton has proved to be a fantastic addition and the whole squad are really pleased to have him on board for the season ahead.
