U13 Whites vs Guildersome

LS27 FC 3 - 5 Gildersome
LS27 FC Whites played host to local rivals Gildersome Spurs this morning.
The pre season friendly was split into three thirds. The Whites were level at the end of the first third 1-1, with Gustav getting the goal for LS27. The boys were unlucky to go behind early in the second third, as the opposition scored a goal which looked suspiciously offside, however Gustav again struck with another fantastic strike to level.
In the final third, the Whites fell behind again, and conceded a couple more as they chased the game. Gustav bagged another to get his hat trick on his return and to finish the game 5-3.
The boys in Pink were excellent this morning and probably deserved a bit more from an end to end game. Opposition MOTM went to Lucas Pickering who put in an all action display in the middle of the park. Notable mentions as well for Alex, Leyton and Gustav who also put in great performances. That said it was a fantastic team performance and all the boys should be very proud at how they applied themselves.
The quality of football and the spirit of the game was testament to both teams and we wish, Mark, Dave and the boys from Guildersome all the best in their upcoming season in the 1st division of the Huddersfield League.
