LS27 U16's were invited to take part in a Just Football Tri Tournament on Tuesday night, a format made up of 3 teams who play each other twice in 20min 11 a side games at Hemsworth Minors Stadium.

Despite being unluckily losing the 1st game 1-0, LS27 FC U16s won the next two games 1-0, meaning a draw in the last game would be enough to win the tournament.

The boys went one better and won the remaining game 2-0, crowing them Tournament winners against some very tough opposition.

LS27 would like to thank the tournament organisers for the opportunity to play in such high class surroundings, and the insight into the possibility of continuing their education through a possible football scholarship at the venue
