It's been a while coming and only recently gained enough players to run the team, as late as last Tuesday we had 5 new players across two age groups, four of which played their first ever ame of football for anyone, never mind as a team.

It will take time to gel together but the team took a massive step today by playing away at Ilkley, who were a very good organised team after playing together in previous seasons.

Not only did we play our first game, we also had 5 players playing up a year, so not an easy ask to start with, but every player went out on the field with a huge smile on their face, and tried their best, that's all the club wants to see!

Special mention to Churwell Primary who recently made the effort to get a large portion of the team out to play togehter, Thankyou for your efforts!

We are looking forward to watching the progression over the season of this great, yet slightly crazy bunch of girls!!!
