Last weekend saw LS27 FC hold their first Club fundraiser of the year with our first ever, but now annual "Parents Gala".

The day started with a few of our coaches setting up the pitches in the rain, but luckily, this rain stopped as play began for the day... (Thank you)

The opening event saw our "Mums Only Opener" as mums from Minis to U9s took on Mums from U10s and above.

After a few giggles and some rocket shots the game finished 1-1 with the mums from Minis-9s taking the glory winning a penalty shootout 4-3! Well done all, it was clear to see some took it more serious than others hehe

The two groups then started with teams including U9s Mums, Minis, U7s, U8s, U9s, U10s, U11 & U15s facing each other in two groups before our Mini's and U7s met in the final.

It was the Mini's who took the spoils in our first Parents Gala but i'm sure next seasons U8s will have revenge on their minds.

Well done to everyone involved, those who organised the day, Batley Grammer School, the BBQ and the Tuck shop which all helped us raise valuable funds for the coming season!
